Man these guys are by far the best 3 piece band EVER, been listening since I heard Snowblind playing in 84. A friend was already listening by then. Saw the guys in Nowra.
Still and always will have every album in my iTunes library.
Love the bass lines and the Vocals are just perfect for every song.
So sad pop culture and shows like idol have killed off the breeding ground for amazing bands like the Spy's, Oils etc

Been listening to you guys since 87. Stil my fav band of all time. Met Craig in the mens room having a slash (ha ha) at the Jetty Hotel (where I was working) back in 96 ish when he was with another band. The poster was a gold dude with a fish hook through his nose. Seen you giys at Parramatta Leagues in 88-89. Good times. Thank you.

You are the best, ever!
Brazilian Surf Music from 80´s and 90´s will always be associated to Australian Bands such as v. Spy v. Spy , Gang Gajang, Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil...
I Believe new generations have no clear idea about that period...
Thousands of supporters in Rio de Janeiro... still today for sure!

Hi guys my best memory is if you guys opening the earthquake concert in Newy. I had just left year 10 in 1989 was only 16 and this was my first ever concert. You guys were absolutely fuckin awesome. Pumped the crowd for what was and will always be the best concert. I hope one day the commemorate this concert in 2019 it will be 30 years. And I can be right up the front just like I was back then and rock on with my fellow novocastrians. Would love to see you guys there.

Saw your show in March at Dee Why, despite the lineup change you made the Radiators look mediocre.

Love Spy Vs Spy! Always have & Always will! Love your authenticity, energy, real street politics, passion, incredible musicianship, care for the real underdog, incredible intelligence, commitment .. you are by far the best Australian band!! Please help us Spy lovers to know when & where you are playing now in 2017. How do we find out easily so we can be a part of the fantastic feeling, so rare in Australia today? Saw you 28 April 2017. Yes new members but Mike Weiley you hold it together! Magic.

Hi guys, someone told me recently craig and cliff were dead. cliff died 5 years ago in a car crash in Broome and craig apparently died of a heart attack or something like that. wondering if that's true? i'm curious cos i pashed craig after a gig in newcastle sometime in the middle of in 1989 and pashed cliff after a sydney gig a few months later. they both had girlfriends they said, cliff was the better pasher but i wouldn't let him screw me in some roadie guy's van. anyone else got any slutty groupie stories? don't judge me, it was a long time ago. i'm 46 now (and still hot and horny!)

thanks Paul, appreciated. but i was hoping craig would/could explain it better - the lyrics like 'leaky heart will hold no water', watch for the thousand-yard stare', 'feeling short great expectations, so you take a chance and raise the flag ...' - i'd love to know what they meant to craig or what his thinking was. anyway, all good. he seems happy now.
i used to get emotional when i played that song back in the day. i'm 48 now. there's so much about those days i miss. (sighhhhhh)
